A LITTLE ABOUT ME

A native of the Pocono mountains, Paul London attended the same high school as his father and his grandfather, moving on to East Stroudsburg University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He recently moved his family back home from New Orleans where he was working in Private/Commercial banking for IBERIABANK. Before that, he drove for Uber and worked as a bartender. Although he misses the types of conversations you only have from behind the bar or driving a cab, he loves solving problems.

The thing that inspires Paul the most about being a Loan Officer is being able to help a client who thought their goals were unattainable. It may not be today, but there is always a way, and Paul will work as hard as he can to coach his clients until it’s possible. He specializes in crafting a customer-centric approach, so his clients have the experience they want. He’s a tenacious problem solver who prides himself on being able to structure proposals that get approved where others couldn’t find a way.

If Paul won the lottery tomorrow, he’d go buy a golf course immediately, become the head greenskeeper, and he’d allow anyone under 18 to play for free whenever they want…but he’d make them walk. How thoughtful, Paul!

Paul thinks that anyone can learn the language of numbers, he loves the reaction he gets when he’s able to explain a concept to someone that they were struggling with, in a way that makes sense. If he wasn’t such a great Loan Officer, he’d be a math teacher and says, “there’s always another way to look at a situation, and I enjoy working to see things from others’ points of view.”

Although he doesn’t have much time for movies now-a-days, he will always stop for Nicholas Cage. He says his father is the world’s best musician and he tries to watch the Chris London Band at every chance possible.

When he’s not at work, you can find Paul outside, spending time with his wife, hiking with his Black Lab or playing with his kids. He says he never thought he would have kids and sometimes he questions why he ever did it, but says he wouldn’t trade it for the world. He considers it the best thing that has ever happened to him….so far! He says, “You don’t know until you try.”
